A little YAY moment!

This is going to sound a bit silly, but I want to share my latest YAY moment!

I have owned my original Playing Card Oracles book since 2007. I took good care of it, but after almost 20 years of handling and reading, it started to become... worn. The inside pages were great, but the covers suffered. Over time, the transparent lamination started to peel off and became all wrinkled... Of course, none of this stopped me from reading and using the book, but it still made me sad, because it's one of my favorites!

A few days ago, I took the book to a local print shop that does bookbinding, and asked if they could transform it into a hardcover. And they said yes!

I must say, the result was incredible! If you didn't know what the original cover looked like, you wouldn't be able to tell it had been changed. Luckily, I managed to get high-resolution images of both the front and back covers (one of the advantages of working in the publishing industry), so the print quality is excellent. 

Some books really feel like friends to me, and my OG Playing Card Oracles edition is no exception. So I'm really happy to have it renewed and ready to accompany me on oracle adventures for another 20 years!
