So, we have Caput Draconis + Carcer = Cauda Draconis. The first witness, Caput Draconis, seems to be transformed into its opposite, Cauda Draconis, through the influence of the second witness, Carcer. Caput Draconis, the head of the dragon, is generally favourable, especially for beginnings and changes. On the other hand, Cauda Draconis, the tail of the dragon, is generally unfavourable and only good if an ending is desired. And Carcer, the prison, as the name suggests, is about being trapped, restrained, delayed and/or isolated.
It seems that this cycle will begin with a sudden influx of creative and intellectual possibilities, which will be blocked by obstacles or prohibitive circumstances. The image I get is of a dragon rising, hitting a wall and then going down again.
The cards also show a shift in energy. In the first half, we have the very positive and solid combination of the 6
At first, Somlipith can be a positive influence on the K♣, filling him with new ideas and visions. However, when we do a numerological sum of the two cards (and this is one of the techniques Ana teaches in the Doors of Somlipith book), we get the 5♣ as the hidden influence – the Wind Cloak, a card of instability and scattering. This leads me to think that the arrival of A♣ will destabilize the K♣ somehow.
Also, the A♣ looks like it is carrying the J♥, hanging upside down. La Hire is a card of drama and emotional intensity, as well as unpredictability... and that's how the best-laid plans of mice and men go astray!
Another aspect that catches my attention is the fact we have both the first (A♣) and the final (K/13♣) cards of the Clubs suit, side by side. Again, the sudden arrival of an idea, or the revelation of an unconscious influence, might force our plans to a sudden halt, making us question our usual views and methods. Our hearts might change for reasons we do not fully understand, at first. Yet, we may find it hard to act against it.
In any case, it is a cycle in which things probably won't go as expected, especially after the Full Moon. New things are coming, yes, but not according to our plans or timing. And if we try to impose our will, we may be met with a 'not yet'. The lack of Spades (Earth) also suggests a general lack of practical results.
